No Financial Aid?

I am aware that not needing financial aide (my situation) may increase your chances of acceptance at schools that aren’t need-blind.

My question is: To what extent? Is the difference drastic or just marginal?

Thanks in advance!

Depends where. The more selective the school-thus the more qualified applicants-the less it matters. What pool you’rre applying from is also key-affluent from CT at many selective schools there are many full pay candidates to choose from so it won’t help much. At the same school a full pay Hispanic from New Mexico is a shoo in with much lower stats.
