I just realized that foreign languages were not part of the HASS-D class offering list, does this mean that there’s no lottery for foreign languages?

Right, there isn’t a lottery to get into language classes. But if you take a level 3 or 4 language class you get HASS-D credit for it (it counts as a super special 6th category), which means you only need to take HASS-D classes in two other categories.

Or, you can take globalization, which is a 9-credit HASS-D CI-H class, that has a coreq of a foreign language (also a 9-credit course). That way, you can take a foreign language and still get HASS-D CI-H credit.
