no idea what to do with this essay topic..

what can you write about this essay topic…

“no man is an island entire of itself. Everyman is part of a whole, a continent…”

thast the essay topic and i have no idea what i can write about that. any suggestions? btw the essay is to say how that relates to our personal philosophy…

It seems to me this essay wants you to praise teamwork and write about how good a team player you’ve been. My advice would be to choose a community service or group project experience you’ve had and talk about how you worked together etc, etc, etc, blah, blah, blah… but of course way less cliche.

I think they are purposely leaving it very open-ended, but if it were me I would probably write about the experiences I’ve had and people I’ve known (i.e. islands) who have made me become who I am, and have the philosophy I have (i.e. contributed to the whole archipelago! LOL)!!!

wow that’s weird. In our scheduling books that list all of the classes you can take, that’s the description under sociology down to the letter

What is? That quote???

That’s because it’s from a John Donne poem

maybe if you take a look at it the content could help with the essay

write about the time you stopped being a selfish brute and gave a helping hand. just jocking!

That’s hot…I would take ANY class that had a poem as its course description! LOL

haha and there I thought the writers of the description were being all poetic, when it wasn’t really them the whole time!

lol…yeah, I guess we can’t expect too much from course catalogs. Bummer.

haha “thats hot” =)
