<p>Hey guys! Brown is a very popular choice for people in my school, including my own social group, so quite a few kids applied. All the kids that I’ve spoken to got interviewed, but I was never even contacted for an one :/. How much will this affect my application? Will the committee see this as a failure on my part (even though I wrote to them about it) or the person I was assigned to?</p>
<p>No, it’s not your fault. It should be held against you at all. They just don’t have enough alumni to interview everyone. Yeah, I know this isn’t a very satisfying answer, but it’s true.</p>
<p>It means nothing and will not impact your application at all. Only if you turned down the interview would the committee consider this as a factor. Chances are the alum assigned your name got busy and forgot to contact you.</p>
