<p>I am currently taking a gap year in China with an intensive immersion program called CET. My problem is that I didnt interview with Harvard before i left, and in USNEWs it says an interview is very important. Does anyone know if this will hurt me even though i have a pretty valid excuse (being on the other side of the world).</p>
<p>I’ll bet there’s a way to meet up with an alumni interviewer in China. My D, a junior at Harvard, was in Shanghai for three weeks this summer and ran into several classmates during the trip. H alumni are everywhere.</p>
