I got my schedule and apparently I’m not registered for Intro to Experimentation OR the Engineering Orientation lecture, resulting in total of 15 credits.

This can only mean I will have to take 20 credits in the fall. What am I suppose to do? I thought all first years MUST have either Intro to Experimentation OR Orientation Lecture, but I have none of those two.

Either or? I think you’re going to need both.

You may get lucky and find a space if/when someone else drops one of those classes during the add/drop period. Just keep an eye on webreg!

If you are absolutely unable to get into Intro to Experimentation, I know that that is available over the summer if you don’t want to overload on credits in your spring semester.

for intro to exp if it doesnt open special permission numbers are not available for lab classes and during the spring semester u probably have to compete against sophomores and juniors for the class unless u have a lot of credits to register before them…

the dean’s receptionist emailed me the schedule

Idk what i’m gona do. I honestly don’t think this is my fault, because 2 weeks ago when they sent me the Registered course list, intro to experimentation was on there. now I’m not registered for it, whatever. spring overload, here i come.

I don’t have intro. to experimentation and neither do any of my engineering fb friends. but i do have gen. chem. twice on a certain day of the week, so i’m assuming one of those is intro to experimentation? idk, but you aren’t alone lol.

i don’t have engineering orientation either, and some of my friends don’t even have an elective!

one of the gen classes u probably have on that day is a recitation, which is a smaller class than the lecture that u will be having…chem lab is a separate class from gen chem
