I am currently a junior and have no major awards nor any leadership positions, and this has been stressing me out. Would this negatively impact my admission for uni in general?
Stats: GPA 4.34 weighted (as of sophomore year)
I am an IB Diploma Candidate, taking 4 IB courses and 2 AP course this year.
Overall have taken 3 AP exams so far (HGAP:4, WHAP:5, EHAP:5) i plan on taking Calculus BC, APUSH, and Biology
My only extracurricular is violin (I’m also Asian)
-Have played violin for 12 years
(In top orchestra at school and in community orchestra)
-Have made all-region orchestra for many years
-Exemplary awards in district solo and ensemble competition
-TMEA honor string orchestra finalist (for school orchestra)
-finalist (ensemble) and semi-finalist (solo) for a state french competition (in arts category)
-orchestral violinist at an international music festival
-Volunteer with professional city orchestra and at the local hospital and at a lab in the summer
-French club for 3 years (chosen representative for state competition mentioned above)
-National honor society for 2 years
