<p>I participated in a freshman orientation program (I’m a junior) which was worth a semester of school service credit, which is a pass/fail class. It only met six times in the semester and I was absent for three for various reasons. Because of this, the teacher gave me a “NM” on my transcript, which means No Mark. Will it count toward my GPA / count as failing the class / look really bad to colleges? How does this affect my admission chances?</p>
