No NHS: End of the World?

<p>I intend to apply to top colleges next year and meant to apply to the National Honor Society, but the deadline is really soon and I haven’t even thought about my application. I know that it “doesn’t hurt to apply,” but what would be the implications on my admission to college if I just didn’t bother? Would it be a big hole in my application? So many people seem to have it on their checklist…</p>

<p>No. It’s really not important at all. Definitely recommend applying, the process usually isn’t all that involved- particularly if you’re lacking in academic ECs.</p>

<p>But if you don’t apply, it certainly wont leave a hole in your application.</p>
