could you post on your SAT1 subscore?

76o CR, 640 M, 710 W

It is an unfortunate sub score. Especially because I’m in AP Calculus and doing very well.

^ After my results I can tell you that some people are NOT good standardized test takers. And I am one of them.

yeah dude, no one in my school ever applies to dartmouth either. Apparently though according to my college counselor, that is a good thing since they have no one to compare you to (in a good way).

That may be true that the admissions office won’t be able to compare you to past applicants but colleges look for geographic diversity as well. Its harder for white_rabbit coming from California than say Wyoming or Kansas.

dartmouth does not look at location what so ever… that’s straight from the admission director’s mouth

It seems, like many of us, you’ll be in the mix.

Your SAT scores and grades alone will not be positively determinative. Much will hinge on your essays, how you represent your ECs (your passion/accomplishments in them) and your t-recs. If these are average or below, your chances diminsh.

I think the fact that no one from your HS has ever applied to D is to your favor.
