No SAT II requirement??

Which top tiered (open to interpretation of course) schools don’t even look at SAT II scores as part of the admissions process? My SAT score is 1420, but my SAT II scores are 690, 690, 670. Any schools…?

Northwestern

Your SAT II scores aren’t that much lower in termes of impressiveness than your SAT I scores, so I think you are overreacting to a perceived problem. Certainly a 1420 is good, but not great at the top-level schools, so I imagine your SAT II scores, which are solid upper 600s, will be more or less a wash. You should apply wherever you had previously planned to apply and hope that your grades and other qualifications are impressive. I would say that your SATs are the kind that neither keep you out nor get you in (low for top 3 LACs and top 10 universities, though).

William & Mary don’t require them

When you request that the CollegeBoard send SAT I scores, do they automatically send Sat II scores as well? That is to say- will they send both, whether you want them to or not?

If you send your scores, everything that is not on score choice will be sent. That includes SAT I’s and II’s.

btw, U of Chicago is a top tier that doesn’t require SAT II’s

Yes.

Brown or Yale
