No science?

I’m applying to a couple of science kinda schools (Carnegie Mellon, Harvey Mudd) and was wondering if taking math2 and USHistory would look bad, because of a lack of a science sat2. I took AP Bio my sophomore year and got a 5, so I might take bio instead of ushistory, but we’ll see how the practice test goes. I took physics last year but I took a few practice tests and got high 500s low 600s… Which is not really where I want to be.

I’ve taken all the science classes in our school, so not lacking there.

So would it be held against me if I took a humanities test instead of a science?

I’ve heard there’s no point in taking the same SAT as your AP as the material tested is pretty much the same.
However, it is good to show interest in science if you’re applying to those science kind of schools. So probably your best shot is to study hard for Physics or Chem…
In any way, better a 700+ History & Math than a 600 science!

Yeah, I was trying to take tests that I haven’t taken AP classes for… But apparently the non-AP classes don’t prepare me real well. I’m taking subject tests this Saturday so not much studying time, but I’ll see what I can cram in… I took AP US History last year so Bio would probably be a better choice? As in, if I can’t avoid taking a test that I’ve taken AP, might as well take the science one?
