<p>so im applying to schools last minute because I just found out about my ACT scores, which were MUCH better than expected. I only have on teacher rec but the college im applying to needs two on the common app… is there any way for me to submit this application without the second rec and just send that in later? the common app wont let me send it without a teacher invitation… but i dont want to send an invitation without consulting my teacher first… so yeah.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, that school requires 2 recommendations. You must meet their requirements before you submit.</p>
<p>In order to hit submit, you do have to list 2 teachers (and add the 2nd one to the school you recently added). You can send your teacher an email stating that you have added them, and if they can’t do it or decline, then your application will not be processed. This clearly is not the preferred method, but it sounds like you are trying to do a hail mary application due to the fact that your new ACT scores make you competitive for a more selective school.</p>
