I registered for the october sats and now i regret it very much. I already got a 2190 and i thought i should try to break the 2200 bu i had other plans during the summer and thus couldnt study.

To cancel, would it be okey if i just dont show up to take the sats. I dont want to take it then fax out a form for cancelation.

I heard if u dont show up to the test center at all, they dont even ask for a form, and cancel your score automically.Thats kinda what I want :p

No actually you should take the october test, even though you failed to study. You must break the 2200 to get into the Ivys. PlusThe colleges see if you ever “skipped” or “cut” the SAT. It comes up as “ABST DRNG SAT” (It happened to my friend. She goat 2390 on SAT and 4.2 Unweighted GPA but didn’t get into any good schools because she skipped out.) If you really do not feel comfortable taking the SAT again, you can cancel your registration online. Definitely don’t not show up.

“You must break the 2200 to get into the Ivys. PlusThe colleges see if you ever “skipped” or “cut” the SAT.”

Harvard’s SAT scores
Test Scores – 25th / 75th Percentile
SAT Critical Reading: 690 / 800
SAT Math: 700 / 790
SAT Writing: 710 / 800

AT LEAST 25% of the admitted class had around a 2100 (I know it isn’t fair to assume a person who got 690 on CR should get 700 and 710 on math, but let’s assume 25% = 25% for simplicity’s sake). This is at Harvard, the [most] selective non-specialized college in the US. Your claim of “you must break the 2200 to get into the Ivys” is just a random assumption.

Your second claim “ABST DRNG SAT” directly contradicts the collegeboard website, which states:

“If you miss your test day and do not want to test on another date, it is not necessary to notify us. Your test and registration fees, including fees for services such as re-registration by telephone, are nonrefundable. If you were absent from the test, no score reports will be sent. If you do not want to change your test date and would like to request a refund for any additional score reports you ordered, Question-and-Answer Service, and/or Student Answer Service, please call Customer Service.”

Yea thanks guys…, i feel like that will just be alot easier than trying the actual test, fail, and then go fill out a form to cancel…too much work lol

Yea, i Guess that if I dont go at all, it will be canceled automatically and thus no forms filling out required or phone calls needed to tell them im not there

I skipped the may sat. I had so much going on that studying for the sat would have hurt me. I didn’t show and then used that money towards taking sat iis in June.

yea, haha im now done with all my sats i hope
2190 on a single sat is godd enough for me,
u dont need to fill out a cancellation form if not going to the sats at all right?
