No Show Socks

I can’t find the thread last fall when we were discussing these. At the time, the best I could find was Polo and loved them. But lately half the time the heel goes under my foot now.

So, I follow a blogger who swears by these. I bought them and so far so good. There are 3 horizontal strips of silicone on heel that make it stay better than any I’ve tried. I walked around a couple hours this morning and so far, so good. Reviews say they shrink badly in the dryer, so I’ll just let mine air dry. They are a little pricey, but I’m frustrated trying to find so something. Thought I’d share. I bought the pink, pink and white and grey trio. (For my pink tennis)

I bought these as a result of that thread and I have them on right now and I have washed and worn them all winter at work w/shoes. They are no-show but also if you have a shoe that reveals too much of your foot on top they may show.

Do these have silicone in the back to hold them on? It must be the way I walk in one foot, that one is always the one that comes off first.

Yes, a strip on each ankle. I feel they come up a tad higher than some I’ve had before that barely cover the sole of your feet!

I find that I like Lululemon Secret Socks the best. They also have the three strips of silicone at the back of the heel. Sometimes I find I need to use a little water to “refresh” them because even after going through the wash it seems like there is a film on them that keeps them from doing their job. But overall these no-shows stay up on my heel better than any others I’ve tried.

Oh, I LOVE the Bombas socks! Gave some to D for Christmas, and she was thrilled with them, too.

Tommy Bahama offers a nice no-show sock. And, if for any reason you are not 100% satisfied, simply return them for a full refund.

Both the Bombas and the ones in the OP thread seem to come up fairly high in the front. I find those don’t work for lower cut summer shoes. I wear low, but not no shows, for working out. The smartwool in #3 look like they would work, but they are not in stock and unknown when they will be back and did not see them on their website.

I may try mens low cut no shows as my shoe size is near the upper limit for women’s socks and the low cut ones tend to pop off. Not a major problem, but I really like to wear socks with my shoes and sneakers.
