Yesterday my senior received a text from VCU saying they made the supplemental essay optional. She’s already written hers so doesn’t really impact her. But…with an acceptance rate above 90 percent and now essay optional, could be a great add for people looking for a likely admit to round out their list.

For those who seek an urban school, it’s a vastly overlooked school in a great city - when people think of Richmond, they think of that other school that’s far from urban.
