No Textbook for Philosophy or Sociology?

<p>I’m taking Philosophy and Sociology through FPF in the fall and neither department is listed on the website for Cal Books. Moreover, the regular philosophy and sociology departments for the equivalent classes list no books. </p>

<p>Is this an error or are there actually no textbooks for these classes? I’ve never experienced a class that didn’t have a textbook…</p>

<p>The classes might have a reader, which is almost like a textbook, and you’ll most likely have to purchase it at a copy shop near campus. You should find out more information about what readers and/or books you’ll need (and where to get them) on the first day of class from the professor.</p>
