What are some colleges that don’t require transcripts when you first apply?
I know University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign and University of Pittsburgh don’t, but what are some others?
California UC’s and Cal States ask you self-report your grades and require transcripts once admitted.
And any deviation will result in admission being rescinded.
Are there any schools with Janurary deadlines that don’t require transcripts at first?
Look at schools that you are interested in and check their transcript requirements. Choosing schools based on no transcripts application is ridiculous.
Are you asking b/c your 1st semester grades won’t be ready? Then it’s not a concern. Many schools send 1st semester transcripts to colleges in January and the colleges are fully aware and handle it without a problem. Apply to as many colleges as you wish – all you need to do is let your counselor know your final set of applied to colleges. They take care of the rest.
