Noise Level In Dorm Room

<p>Is it common to turn on tv in 2 a.m and laugh when 3 of other roomates are sleeping? I live in a quad (4 people). It’s not only the tv noise, but the laugh. The laugh is annoying as ****. It’s not a full laugh but he keeps it in. My other roomates are also crazily annoyned but arent saying anything to the guy. He does this everyday, not only at night but throughout the day , doesnt even leave the room. So it is hard to study/concentrate in the room. Is this kind of noise level acceptable or should this be banished?</p>

<p>Also, in the morning, what about the alarm? I am always waken by the alarm. Cell phone alarm. I put it on silience mode, but it is normal to put the alarm off and wake your roomate up every single morning? Isnt this too selfish?</p>

<p>roomates/ dormmates can suck. all i wanted to do was go to sleep early tonight… unfortunately… the party next door doesn’t care. i can’t wait to move out of a dorm!</p>

<p>when all 3 of you are upset you can and should do something about it. talk to him and tell him to be quiet.</p>

<p>alarms… most people need the alarm, so let it off once, inevitably the roommate will get up too but go back to sleep. the rude thing is snoozing.</p>
