I live in a campus apartment right below the Rd for the building. He has his TV set so loud that it’s all I can hear over my own TV almost everyday. How do I handle this? I can’t go to my RA, since it’s her boss. I’m so frustrated.
Why can’t you go to your RA or the RD directly and talk about this concern. It is their jobs to deal with these kinds of problems between residents. The RD may not know how loud his TV is and this could be an easy fix.
Sure you can go to your RA.
Talk to your RA (that’s what he’s there for). It’s quite possible that the RD doesn’t know how loud his TV is and will turn it down if he’s asked.
