Nominations to USNA

My son has gotten three nominations to the USNA. Should he give two of them up or keep all three to increase his chances of an appointment?

For future references, there is a Service Academy subforum right here, [U.S</a>. Service Academies - College Confidential](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/u-s-service-academies/) under the Colleges and Universities tab.

But to answer your question, it is probably best to keep all three nominations. Perhaps it doesn’t seem fair since the MOC’s aren’t “sharing the wealth” of noms, but at least your son DESERVES those three noms, and it says something about him and his hard work to be able to receive three noms! I would suggest to keep them, since it would allow USNA more opportunities to give him an appointment!

Thanks for the reply. That is what we thought too, but had been given some conflicting information from a person whose son was also applying for a nomination.
