I’ve had my husband’s Fitbit charge HR for a while and it’s great but big and clunky. Got an Alta HR which is super cute but it doesn’t allow manual start/stop for exercise tracking and the auto track cheats me out of a large chunk of my workout (ignores the strength part at the end). I’m planning to return it. Can anyone recommend an alternative? Any brand but Apple. I have an Android phone.
I have a Samsung phone and a Samsung watch/fitness tracker (Gear Fit2, not the latest model). They’ve recently made updates to the Samsun software so that it recognizes when I’m on my rowing machine, which is great - it also recognizes when I’m on an elliptical. I have a small wrist but am happy with the profile of the watch.
I’m so sad my Fitbit One died, they are discontinued and it seem impossible to find a clip on rather than bracelet, which counts steps and stairs. ;( On eBay the remaining One modals have more than doubled in price.
My phone counts my steps and I use a running app for additional information. I find it handy to not have an extra bit of equipment to keep track up. Just use my phone.
I love my Fitbit Versa, which is similar to an Apple Watch. Price point about $200.
