I need a little help finding colleges in NYC that are not commuter schools. I know NYU and Columbia, but they are both to expensive and too hard to get into. I have looked at Seton Hall but that is in NJ. I am going to major in accounting, and I have a 4.3 gpa, (no ACT or SAT yet). Thank you.
Pace University (NYC camous) is a non-commuter school! With your great GPA, you’d probably get a large merit scholarship. Fordham University is another non-commuter school (there’s the urban campus in Manhattan, Lincoln Center, and the more traditional campus in the Bronx, Rose Hill) that offers some large scholarships for qualified applicants. St. John’s University, Marymount Manhattan College, Manhattan Coolege, and Wagner College are all non-commuter NYC schools.
Pace has a commuter school vibe to it. Even though roughly 70% of freshmen live on campus, less than 40% of undergrads live on campus.
