Non-Core Class Grades For Prep Schools

Hello everyone!
I was wondering if top prep schools place as much emphasis on grades in non-core subjects as they do in classes such as mathematics, English, history, biology and foreign languages?
I was wondering this because I did not do so well in those classes as I had a few A- grades.
Thank you so much!!

If you’re concerned that an A- is a bad grade, you’re in for a world of hurt if you get accepted.

And yes, admissions looks at all grades

An A- is a good grade.

An A- is still higher than a B+.

Don’t worry about the A-'s. Worry about C’s, D’s, and F’s. And even then, it’ll be taken in context. For example, if you are a star athlete a B+ in PE is not going to tank your application.
