Trying to help out a friend well in advance (her child is a junior). Biological parent is out of the picture and has been for several years. What type of documentation is needed from a third party for the NCP waiver?

Is there a child support order? While parent may not have any physical contact if bio parent knows how to contact non-custodial parent, or their family to get in touch with parent, information will still be needed
A neutral third party usually a guidance counselor who knows the child and their situation. Court documentation that prohibits contact with the child (ren). Different schools will request different type of documentation, so check with the school in question as to what they require. Some schools may require statements from custodial parent and child in addition to a third party letter
