Hi all,

I am a fourth-year student at Penn State University and today I found that my scheduled classes for next semester had mysteriously vanished from the registrar’s information pages. This past semester, I took 15 credits and failed all but two classes and because of the later, I was demoted to “Non Degree Student” status. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing? I have e-mailed the registrar and financial aid for more answers but have yet to hear anything. I have lost my work-study jobs because of this and all of my financial aid. I would like to know if there is any way that I can file for some sort of appeal and how I would go about doing so. I am ashamed of myself as I know I owe it to myself to do better, I just need to turn my life around and exercise more self-control. Please, if anyone has any insight or personal advice to offer, I would greatly appreciate it, as things are looking terribly bleak for me right now and I’m not sure where I can turn.

Thanks and happy holidays!
