Non profit initiative

I have my own non profit, but since it isn’t registered, its called an initiative. shall i get it registered, or let it be? Will officiating it look more impressive on the application. Please give the answer if you’re certain since registering in my country is a bit tedious and expensive task.

It is the results that look impressive.
But if you have a non profit that isn’t registered, would people want to donate money to it?

In another post you said “my grades have been pretty bad for the past two years (Grades were like D/E)”. The big stumbling block for you in terms of getting into a US college as an international student is your grades, not if your non-profit is registered or called an initiative.

For an unhooked applicant, no EC will make up for subpar grades and as an international applicant the competition for admission into a US college is even more difficult.
