Somebody asked me in my [admissions blog](http://jessie.mitblogs.com) about cool stuff that goes on during Orientation that’s not about Dorm Rush (I’ve had multiple entries dedicated to Dorm Rush and how it works). And, you know, it’s been three years since I was actually a frosh experiencing Orientation, and as an upperclassman it’s all been about meeting frosh, doing Rush stuff, and living in perpetual exhaustion (ohmygodIamgoingtobesohosedthistimeohmygod).

Point being, my memories of non-Dorm Rush things that frosh do are hazy. I can think of the Water War, which is technically part of Dorm Rush, Playfair, which is going away and which most people hated anyway, advanced standing exams, the alcohol event, the convocation, and the ARC’s “learn about the GIRs” event (which, surprisingly enough, is actually worthwhile). I’m pretty sure that I’m forgetting a lot of things, some of which are even worth going to.

How about it? What am I leaving out?

(Let’s keep it legal, please. They can hear about Orange Tours or the wild kinky keg party + orgy that you’re throwing in your room somewhere other than in my publically readable blog. :))
