Does anyone know how UC Davis reviews their non-selective majors? For my major I am going to be missing three pre-requisites, 2nd semester O-chem, Calc 3, and Stats by the end of Spring 2013… My GPA is also at 3.36. Does this automatically discount me for admission?

I don’t think so. I am tagging to UC Davis and missing Business Law and Math 16B. My counselor said it is ok and I would just take it at Davis. Your GPA is good enough to give you a shot. If you have questions or want to be totally sure you can ask them directly here:

I use it a lot and they are really good at responding thoroughly.

edit: my major is managerial economics which is non-selective

As of right now, only selective majors will screen for major prerequisites. That means non-selective majors will not screen for major prerequisites.

@emprex: That is fantastic. Thank you so much! I will email them about my situation. Hopefully things will turn out just fine. Best of luck to you!!

@MsSun: Awesome.
Thanks for the response!

Good luck!
