Non Traditional Students and Summer Courses

I know the answer to this for students following the traditional application path. But what about a recent grad that is working full time? Is it still frowned upon to take prerequisite summer courses at a reputable 4 year university?

I do not have a personal experience, so this is just a “theoretical” response. I do not believe that Med. School cares too much for the reasons for summer classes. On the other note, this one is for sure, they do not care about the name of your UG much either, so I would forget about “reputable” for now, I do not think that it would be relevent.
