Non-US citizen athlete in United States

How do colleges look at high school athletes that are non-US citizens but live in the USA (Visa student)? Are they recruited the same way or is the procedure different?

Makes no difference as long as you’re eligible for a visa. Some teams recruit a lot more foreign than US students (e.g. USC women’s crew, Cornell men’s ice hockey).

^^and if you’re full pay from Serbia, or wherever the public universities in California, Michigan, etc will want you badly. They really need the money! It’s a bit of a problem in todays political climate to recruit a serbian rower to Cal (they have had several in the last few years) and give him a full ride plus air fare home every year!

The privates with money can still recruit you!
