<p>Basically, I’m just wondering if I would qualify for this.</p>

<p>I lived with my mother all my life, low income educator, but my father is in international business. At my last friendly contact with him, which was some years ago, he netted 700+k. My mother, on the other hand, hovers around 38. My father lives in the UK, and I havent seen him in years, nor does he pay childsupport. Documented, he owes my mother roughly 28k in childsupport, but we have no hopes of ever seeing that money.</p>

<p>Would I qualify?</p>

<p>First, only the fairly small subset of schools that require NCP info would ask for it. Assuming that you could submit documentation (usually from your high school, clergy, court documents or others who are in a position to know of the situation but are not family/friends), you would probably have a good chance of getting at least one school to waive the requirement for you. You’ll have to appeal to each school individually so try to get your documentation lined up early!</p>
