apologies for yankt (yet another nook & kindle thread)

I’m considering buying a nook or kindle primarily for reading the NY Times. Does anyone have a NY Times subscription on either of these devices. If so, I’m interested in your comments

I put the Sunday NYT on my Kindle and read it all week long. You only get a few pictures and no ads. Lots and lots of words. I don’t have a subscription because I don’t have time to read it every day. I buy the current issue on Sundays for 99 cents (vs. $6 at the store.) Putting the paper on my Kindle was not something I even thought about when I bought the Kindle, but now it’s the main thing I use my Kindle for.

I found it in the Kindle Store via my Kindle. Now I’ll go there every Sunday. The single issues aren’t available online through the Amazon Kindle Store, as far as I can tell.

I subscribe to the daily NY times headlines/latest news on my Kindle. It updates several time a day. I do like it but am thinking about getting rid of it since I can now access it on my Droid for free.

I also subscribe to the New Yorker and the Atlantic.

I didn’t realize you could get just the Sunday NY Times - I might have to do that. I usually just go the website every day.
