no. No student ID number in the unityid. The password that is initally set is the last 4 of student id number and the month and date of birth

I was able to set security questions and change my password and now i am in the portal pack. Does that mean we are admitted? What is step 7 in what you pasted? how do i see the congrats note?

FYI for meā€“it did not use my middle initial. it was first initial and last name

What about if you get an issue with your security questions in order to reset your password please contact the help desk??!!

FYI - if you have a common last name like Smith they replace some of your letters with random numbers. My son was accepted EA and we were never able to use this hack.

I got as far as changing the security questions and then stopped because daughter is at school and I did not want to change them without her. She then tried to do it and got locked out of the system so is calling the help desk now. Lol!!! She did get emails telling her someone was trying to change her password so her unity id is active and connected to her email- so I think that is a good sign! Iā€™ll update if we get on! She got deferred EA and this is her top choice so really hoping!!!

I think so! So she called IT and the guy was super nice. She totally admitted to him that she was hacking in to get her decision and he unlocked her and told her how to finish setting up her account. Ha! Sheā€™s working on it now Now we just want to find out if she is a fall or spring admit. We are OOS and she may not accept if spring as sheā€™s got other good choicesā€¦but not sure what sheā€™d do as state has her heart

Does it show when you are admitted, if so where do you find that. We are OOS also.
