thank you. so for the unityid i am putting first initial of first name and first initial of middle name and 5 letters of last name.

I think the Unity ID formula might vary a bit from person to person.
My D24 was an EA admit and hers is first name first initial + middle name first initial + the first 5 letters of last name + the number 2. My guess on that configuration is there are 2 students with her last name and the same first letters of the first/middle name. If the ‘normal’ formula doesn’t work, I wouldn’t read too much into it. It could be an overlap in naming causing a difference in how the unity ID is formatted. Good luck to all!
