North Carolina State Early Action for Fall 2025 Admission

Is that on the homepage of the portal? I don’t see it, which I guess is a bad sign.

How do you get into MyPack Portal? My S only has Wolf Paw Portal.

Saying it again. They need to fix this inflation. Not everyone can make all As and get a B or 2. Again, and 80 and an 89.4 are counted the same and that’s bonkers.

Serious question, when did 35 and 36 ACTs stop mattering? It was pushed on us to take it even with it not mandatory. Sad, we actually were excited and thought it would curve their chances. Personally I think people see all these stats posted and it makes people feel bad. I’m glad my child can’t see this. I know my child and others worked their tails off too. Even with real obstacles.

Follow these instructions:

It’s not the admissions portal. And it doesn’t mean someone was rejected if you don’t see it. It’s just an indicator of admitted status. Last year there were people that didn’t see this but still got in. See this link:

Gotcha. My child’s does not work.

Mine doesn’t work either.

I just want to reiterate that it is not a bad sign if this doesn’t work. It’s more that it’s a good sign if it does work. Plenty of people who were admitted last year were not able to get this to work for them in advance.

Your kid sounds very competitive! Don’t sweat it!!

Just to ask again, you are saying that you did not see the “Pay Enrollment Deposit” button yesterday, but you see it tonight?

Correct. It appeared sometime between 6pm and 9pm ET this evening for S25.

Love you for saying that but he’s like a 10th or so from that lower gpa’s there. I know that’s an average. But we aren’t feeling hopeful after seeing someone above saying they are looking for 4.3-4.5 for ea.

Granted, once the school updates the gpa for semester 1, it’ll be more like 4.2. We even uploaded his PowerSchool in December because it supported his essay about growth. So, if they looked they’d see his was making As still.

Is your last name less than 6 letters?

My older S24 admitted EA last year with 3.78 UW / 4.15 W Test Optional. Your kid has good stats.

Lot’s of my friend’s kids got into state last year with a 4.2. And they didn’t have a 35. That will count for a lot, even though they are test optional.

Yes, and no middle name, so did not work for us

Will have to wait for tomorrow, as they won’t be considering this semesters grades in the ea decision. Was hoping the 4.17 was good enough given the ACT, AP scores, ec’s, and health recognition with improvement. He had mid to high As all last year and high As this past semester. Like I said, he attached them late Nov/Dec to support his essay.

Thanks for the feedback, my kid has no middle name and last name is only 5 letters, so this did not work for us

If the UnityID thing does not work for you does not mean you aren’t accepted. If someone else has the same combo (like an existing student) your username will have a random number you can’t guess at the end (mine had a 4).
