No not yet. They did say to wait 7-10 business days on the letter for more info which is another week or two.
Can you tell me what happens at the events? How it goes? Canāt find much info anywhere about NEU Admitted Student Day events. I have decided to join one in LA here happening in Early April. Looked on YouTube / Reddit, nothing, Iām assuming itās pretty similar to other units where thereās food, a presentation, everyoneās standing in a hall area.
Even without AP credits, it is possible to complete the programs in 4 years, but the student has to stick to the recommended sequencing of courses.
yeahā¦ was just hoping it comes before we pay for the trip to Oaklandā¦ No reason to go to accepted students day if the $$$ donāt workā¦
Does anyone know about the merit based scholarships that they announce by May? I see that London Scholars are considered for the āAchievement Awardā - do you have to apply for that or should you at least send in spring grades? Thank you.
I thought all merits are included with the acceptance?

Yes, i didnt find it any helpful.. they just gave presentation.. invited a current neu student from chicago area who was telling us his experiences studying abroad n in boston( all positive)
In the end had one on-one Q& A session..the whole thing lasted around 1-1:15 hrs
Idk mine seems to be specifically Northeastern University Oakland so idk what to expectā¦ I donāt know if NEU co-ops are that prominent in Oakland. Maybe for CS itās in the bay area it may actually be prominentā¦ Donāt know much.
Is it one year oakland and rest in boston for you?

I have been offered the option to transfer to Boston after a year or I can according to the letter stay in Oakland all 4 years and complete my program there which to be honest with Silicon Valley right around the corner and SF there, the tech hub is there, the co-ops for CS are there, other than the better campus and resources in Boston, I feel it is just more beneficial for me to stay at NEU Oakland although I have heard that mostly people are being forced even if they want to stay to Boston after their first year because NEU still doesnāt have the resources and capacity to house and educate all 4 years yet.

Iāve read somewhere that Northeastern ādistributesā scholarships till April 1stā¦ Has anyone heard about that? I thought that all scholarships are given together with acceptance and thatās itā¦
Where did you read that? All merit scholarships are included with the acceptance letter. Need based aid is announced once all documentation is received and processed,
somewhere on FB in some random groupā¦ they talked about merit, not fin aidā¦ Could be wishful thinking on their part haha

I have also not received anything. Do you think Iāll get an email with an aid offer? Or will it be linked in an updated pdf in my admissions portal?
I asked on Fb and couple of people said they got email notificationā¦ but I do check the portal daily just in caseā¦
I also filled out a form on NEU website and they replied to expect the paperwork end of this week - mid next weekā¦ 
which is crazy - Oakland visit day is next weekend and we are not booking the flight before we know the financial offerā¦ We already canceled the accepted students day we were supposed to go on today (in Boston - we are local)ā¦ Because whatās the point without all the info?
Nor have I. Either way I will still attend the Admitted Students Day Event in Los Angeles next Saturday as Iām a LA local. I have heard tons of stories and their pre-read when I was considering ED II was really nice. Northeastern gives great financial aid offers to low-income accepted students given you showed interest that they accepted you and expect you to attend. They are trying to keep their yield high.
