Deffered for Econ
Anyone get in Boston? I got in NU.in
Boston or NU in?
Did you get honors college?
No, did you? Also which campus?
EA Admitted to Boston campus, Honor College, Data Science and Economics Major.
For future applicants: I am only one data point and it should not be extrapolated to conclude the larger pattern, but the email sign-in astrology thing seemed to be working for me.
i got in for oakland, anyone know what the difference is and how competitive it is vs other campuses?
Northeastern is too unaffordable for me anyway, $98k estimated cost is BS. Probably shouldn’t feel too bad about getting NU.in for a school I won’t attend lol.]
Sorry didn’t mean to reply.
Yes I got honors college and NU in.
did u apply for honors college or are u automaticaly considered?
Nah I don’t think I applied for it
My son was in NUin last year and it was the most incredible experience. Congratulations!
S26 got accepted to NU.in (which was his first choice—we have several friends who have loved the program). 3.8 UW, 4.2 weighted, 35 ACT.
wait, what’s nu.in? is the acceptance rate lower than the main campus? also do uk by how much
Oakland is a very pretty campus (formerly Mills College), and they told us when we toured it that you can switch to Boston after one year if you prefer, or finish your degree in Oakland (for CS major).
Edited to add: here’s our Oakland campus visit report. My D was not interested in Oakland since she didn’t want any of the majors offered, but for CS it could be great! Colleges your child crossed off the list after visiting, schools that moved up on the list. Why? (NO REPLIES) - #7442 by tamagotchi
Deferred for MechE.
Deferred -honestly surprised - thought it would be a rejection! We have a lot of need. Will do a LOCI
ETA - for future applicants — stats above but most current info: 3.79 unweighted, 4.58 weighted. TO. 800 hours Research, 300 plus volunteering. NPC for northeastern says we would pay $20/year so she has high financial need.
D26, admitted EA Boston Campus, business finance.
Accepted for MechE to NUin. 3.28 uw gpa
My daughter got in Boston campus
- honors college/bio major. Grants and scholarship…very excited!
