We actually requested the “pre-read” ON the deadline date (12/14/23) even though she applied EA back in October.

We received a financial pre-read letter recently too, although neither I nor my kid (applied EA) remembered requesting one.
Not sure why it came, but it’s helpful to have.
Does anyone know when Northeastern has notified their early ACTION (not early decision) applicants in the past couple years? The official date is “by Feb 15”, but I think I remember reading that at least for the past couple years they notified people in late January.

Where are you quoting this from?
I ask because I thought I saw people saying notifications in the last two years came out in late January, which is more than two weeks before the announced date. FWIW, the early decision notifications this year came out more than two weeks before the announced date.

I believe that in the past the EA “by” date was 1/31.

My S22 was admitted EA on 1/26 two years ago and is currently a Biochem major at the Boston campus. Good luck!

My son had the NEU credentials after paying the enrollment deposit. For housing application, you need that.

my portal notification date just changed to “no later than 2/1”
