hi, is anyone else confused by the portal rn? my withdraw app button is gone and the button for changing to RD is gone too. when i click change my application category, nothing is there. all i can do is change my personal info.
My withdraw button still there, when I clicked on it, it popped up a screen ask me to fill out the reason why I want to withdraw
The change admission round button is there, but when I clicked on it, it just showed me that I am currently in EA round, and doesn’t give me other option to pick.
I see same as Bearloop.

Hi, I realized I applied to the wrong school/major at Northeastern. I changed it in my portal. Will I be auto-deferred because I changed it so close to decisions?
No. Northeastern does not admit by major. An acceptance letter will say that you are admitted to a certain school or college, but it can be easily switched, unless you want to switch to nursing or pharmacy.
Last year and the year before they released EA on the 4th Wednesday of January, which was also the last Wednesday of the month. Tomorrow is the 4th Wednesday but not last. I guess it will be tomorrow or next Wednesday.

Last year I think it came out on 1/31, but 2022, it came out the 4th of Wed 1/26. So tomorrow could be or we will have to wait till the last Wed of Jan. (1/31) again.

Do they normally send out an email announcing when it is going to be released?
When did you change your major in the portal ? I see a message - “The major change function has closed for Early Action applicants.”, and it does not allow any changes to the major.
I don’t think they do pre-announcement. It will of course email you to tell you there is a status update on your portal. But I don’t think they will announce the actual date beforehand.

Last year website said “decisions BY Jan 31” this year “BY Feb 15th” so I wouldn’t count on previous years release dates… We wish though!
