Does anyone know what the deferral to acceptance rate is…? Im seeing so many people get deferred on this forum but the site says only 1-2% get deferred. PLEASEEE HELPPP

I think around 800 students go to various campuses across different countries based on the major. My son admitted for 2021 so we decided to chose Boston NUIn due to Covid issues he is CS major made lot of connections and great friends and had lot of fun. Now he completed 2 jobs 1-coop and 1 internship.
Son Acceoted NU program with Deans Scholarship.

Twin Daughters both accepted into NUin.
Dont know much about it, but I do want them to have the opportunity to study abroad for the experience regardless. Interesting.

Ugh. Daughter applied with Boston campus as her first choice, but she got accepted to the Oakland campus. We live 20 minutes from Oakland. Oakland is the LAST place she wants to go to college. May as well have been an outright rejection.

His current major is CS. There is a pulldown menu under ‘Please change my major’ which shows all majors. It looks like NEU allows a major change after admission.

So was the portal tea leaves correct on the deferral?
My daughter got into Boston campus Honors College for Mechanical Engineering great merit. It says she has to wait until February for institutional aid. She is beyond excited.

Where did he study ? How many kids were in the program at the abroad university ?
I want to know the same thing…I haven’t seen one rejection so I’m a little scared that they didn’t reject this round

My daughter also got in NUin for nursing. My understanding is you don’t select NUin but they basically consider you for all possible programs. I assume that they wouldn’t accept them there if it didn’t fit in with the nursing major

I just got ACCEPTED to the Boston Campus and the HONORS PROGRAM. I CAN’T BELIEVE IT!!!
