Northeastern Early Action / Early Decision for Fall 2025 Admission

The additional 50,000 high school seniors this year, seem to be applying to all schools! Just kidding of course.

On one of their Instagram pages - @northeasternglobalnews

With no application fee and no essay that makes sense. The average time looking at each app much be less than 30 seconds.

For some reason, my Northeastern Applicant portal decided to make an application for the 2023-24 school year, even though i was a junior then and would not need to apply to college a whole year early.
I decided that by withdrawing that particular one, it would be fixed…nope.
I logged into my portal and it now has a letter telling me that my application has been withdrawn…both of them. I am so scared. I emailed their Admissions email but i am worried they cannot get it back!!! Someone please send advice I am freaking out…

Also for fun, i got an automated reply to the email and it said this about deferred new information:

*I recieved a deferral decision and wish to provide a Letter of Continued interest (LOCI) / an update to my application
Please use the upload function on your Application Status Check portal to add materials to your application. These materials can be labelled under ā€˜Deferred New Information’.
So that’s what that’s for…

I’m still freaking out…hopefully i get a response soon…

I noticed that withdraw application button is gone from the portal. Guess its coming soon.

My withdraw application button is still there

I still see the withdraw application link.

ETA: I applied ED2, not EA-

Does anyone understand the fees listed? For London scholars program fee for instance it says 10,500 per semester? Is that in addition to the 32k tuition per semester??? 42k a semester? That seems insane plus other fees and food, books, housing is separate. Am I reading this correctly?

My son just spent his first semester with NUIN and yes, it was over $43,000 for the semester. Best money I could have spent… the education and the growth these kids experienced going abroad their first semester was the best decision we could have made.

This can totally be a sign that decisions come tomorrow. I think all EDII lost the withdraw button. Here’s to hoping …

Decisions for EA at least

Wow! Do they offer any merit money? We won’t get any financial aid

My DD’s withdraw button is still there.

FYI - My son got in last year and his withdraw button is still on his portal.

Call them tomorrow

Merit and Northeastern aid yes. No federal or state aid…At least in the past.

will do…thanks.

Any signs that we are getting the results today? Changes in the portal?

I did…but I emailed (I’m too nervous to call) and they said I should clear my cookies and I did and it’s still not working. They do still have my application on their side, though.
