<p>Can someone please tell me about the social life (or lack there of) at NEU. I’m afraid that i’ll get lost in all the booze and parties. Plus my mom wants me to find a nice jewish girl and get married and have kids so she can show her friends in BOCA pictures of her grandchildren. So any idea of what the ratio of women to men is. thanks</p>
<p>I asked a somewhat similar question and a current student said that frats and sororities aren’t that big on campus, but you can still get boozed at clubs if you want. According to collegeboard.com, Northeastern is 50% men 50% women, and if you’re Jewish I know there is a Hillel Center. Just one last thing, when I read your mom wanted to to find a nice Jewish girl, I was confused cause I thought you were a girl based on your username. But you’re a Hillary supporter, so it’s all good.</p>

<p>From my two week stay at NU (summer program) I don’t recall seeing a single frat or sorrority or too many shirts denoting them.</p>
<p>I saw a group of guys wearing their frat shirts playing volleyball one time that I visited… but like it has already been said… frats and sororities aren’t that big at northeastern.</p>
