I was deferred from nursing. 33 ACT (36 R, 35 E, 32 S, 27 M) 93 GPA from competitive high school in CT.
AP and honors classes, AP scholar with honor, took college level anatomy&physiology for college credit, CT seal of biliteracy in French, French exchange program with school in Toulouse, music program for 8+ years, performances at esteemed venues/halls in tristate area, president of French club and club that mentors middle schoolers and helps their transition to high school, etc. etc.
Visited and met with Mrs. Gardiner Director of Recruitment at Nursing school.
@oreomollykona Congrats to your daughter! I am NHRP also… I got $33k per year, however, it was written in my letter as $16,500 per semester could you have possibly read the letter incorrectly? I know I did at first.
Should I gene feel good about a deferral at this point, seems like you either got accepted or deffered. Didn’t really see any denies so it may as well be a soft denial at this point. Thoughts?

SAT/ACT: ACT- 34 (36-Science, 35-Math, 34-Reading, Grammar-32)
GPA: ~97.5 unweighted
State/Country: NY
Major: Cellular and Molecular Biology
Have taken only honors and AP classes, have completed science research…won some competitions and awards from this, also very involved at school with multiple clubs and leadership positions per year.
