the date on the ED agreement updated to 2/3/20. DId urs?
my ED agreement is the same date that i applied on. (december 20, 2019). my school counselor told me it probably will come out today, but i am getting really nervous now.
did they get an email from northeadtern saying it’s probable? I know that’s happened in the past.
i have no idea whether she got one or not. we will just see when the time comes. does anyone else have an idea about when it should come??? as well, am i the only one who thinks that no one is doing ED 2 cause there isn’t much discussion on it
Anyone know why NEU gets so few ED applications?
In the past few ED decisions the NU Admissions twitter account posted ~1-10 minutes after 7est that they are out/will be In the next hour on the day of
@Bostonmom1080 According to a mailing to GC’s there were 1900 ED1 applicants and 1000 ED2 applicants. Northeastern has both ED and EA while many schools only have ED.
In the past ED decisions have come out in one batch around 7 PM Eastern time.
What is with the ED agreement changing in the portal multiple times? Have you ever heard of this before?
Yes, ED1 had some kids with the same thing. I wouldn’t read too much into it; I looked and some kids that had it got in and some kids that didn’t have it got in. (Trust me, I’m shaking with nervousness aswell)

Just checked my portal…the ED agreement under “Required” says 2/5/2020 but the one under optional says 12/19/2020 still
same here. Hopefully that’s good news!
mine hasn’t changed, but it may be different because I originally applied under EA, but changed my application to EDII december? I don’t know, but I’m so nervous!
@uneecornn there’s two sections. Documents under Required and under Optional. I have my ED agreement under both (I assume everyone does). Have either of them chnged? Only the one under “required” has changed. I note this because I also originally applied EA and changed to EDII. They may just be processing all of them so your may still change. Again, I wouldn’t look into it further (see my previous comment about it).
I did the same thing but mine changed to 2/5/2020 today
@yellowlab64 it actually just changed for me! I don’t know if it actually means anything, but at least it’s not different anymore!

It’s been on a Wednesday for the last 6 or so releases
Seems low considering they received 60,000 applications.
I think part of it is because they have no supplement, thus, they receive so many applicants that just shotgun it. This is a total guess but I would assume they still receive a total ED applicant pool similar to other schools their size?
