Northeastern University 2020 ED2

@YellowFIsh29 It was on a Wednesday last year and Tuesday the year before.

I am in. Results are out!!!

I got in too!!! With the Dean’s Scholarship!!! I’m literally shakingggg
Congrats everyone!!

@uneecornn Congratulations! I can only imagine…Dean’s Scholarship. Congratulations

SHE’S IN!!! Floating on air right now…
Will post stats later if others do, can’t focus now.

@AthDia I didn’t even expect to get in, so I’m super shocked/ecstatic, but a giant Congratulations to you as well!!!

@morkatmom Congratulations!!!

@PengsPhils Thank you so much for your help to understand the admission process better, and also to ease the anxiety as the announcement day was approaching. You got it 100% right. I was waiting the Wednesday before deadline @ 7pm. There was no other indication in the internet that results will be out today. Awesome job!

Best of luck to everybody. I wish everybody to find his/her match. And if it is not the 1st or 2nd pick, who cares! There are literally thousand of options out there. Keep swimming…and enjoy last few months of HS. It will not come back again.

Congrats to all that get in!!!
I got into the NUin program – on the admission letter, it says the decision is non-binding. Does it mean that I am eligible for other RD schools? (or ED agreement doesn’t apply to me an

@Getinpls yes, you are not obliged to accept NUin (since you did not really apply for this, but rather you signed your commitment to the regular NU). You may continue with application process and wait RD. Does it have a deadline by which you should accept the NUin offer?

@morkatmom and @Getinpls Congratulations!

@AthDia Thanks for your input. The deadline for me is May 1st.

@Getinpls plenty of time to think: consider locations this year (they seem to change), housing, transition back to Boston, your major. There is a lot of info in College confidential in the Northeastern University EA and ED1 page.
Also plenty of online info - not only the official NU site, eg https://huntnewsnu.com/52180/editorial/op-ed-n-u-in-students-need-to-be-integrated-onto-campus/
I would have loved it. Make an educated decision. Read, you can learn so much more than you think.

Congratulations to you too uneecornn!

Same back to you!

@AthDia Happy to help and congrats!

Is it likely that Northeastern even denies from ED? because all I’m seeing are acceptances on every thread

yes it’s possible. I was denied

@SRWEQ322 You’re seeing selection bias of posting. People who are rejected are far less likely to post about it, across college admissions generally. Low volume of ED means that it’s much more likely to see no posts.

@yellowlab64 Can I ask what your stats were? I just need some peace at mind lol
