<p>Wha’?! What if this is the first school you’re applying to, but you plan to apply to 5, do you write “none”, or 5? Why do they want to know? </p>
<p>And why don’t they let you select a double major?</p>

<p>a few reasons you don’t apply as a double. First, they admit based on how many spots need filling in each major. Also, as incoming freshman, your major determines who your advisor is, which intro to college class your in, etc. Finally, declaring a double major is best once you’re in college, have a better idea of your interests, and know what the course load is like.</p>
