Congrats on the grandson @Singersmom07. Expecting to see pictures in June
Seven of us met for lunch on this beautiful day, 6 posters and a spouse. And, as predicted, we chatted like old friends.
Though @HImom (and HIdad) cannot join us, @CountingDown, @boysx3, @smdur1970, @TooTiredMom, and I look forward to another gathering the weekend of June 24/25.

Update:
Eight of us lingered over a fun brunch/lunch in a private room in a mall restaurant. And, as seems to be the rule of CC meetups, we all chatted like old friends.
@FallGirl, @raclut. @jmnva06, @1214mom, @ChuckleDoodle, @smdur1970, and @VaBluebird joined me as we put real names and faces with screen names.
Those who had to cancel were missed and that means we’ll have to do it again sometime. 
@mominva, thank you so much for putting our lunch together. It was great fun and I hope we can do it again and add others in who could not make it this time. Lots of fun!!! As I confessed I had a “shy attack” on Saturday and just didn’t know if I could do it but I’m so glad I got beyond that silliness. Everyone was very kind and outgoing and engaged. It was great. So, next time…come one, come all!

Sounds like y’all had a great time. I’m always nervous before a meet-up, too, but I’ve never been sorry I’ve gone!
I wound up conking out for four hours this afternoon (and Saturday), which kinda proved I needed the rest.
I will be at the next one!
@countingdown At first I was hesitant too but I have realized that you learn something new with each person you meet. Even though each of us have different backgrounds and journeys we all want the same things. Good health, our children’s happiness, personal fulfillment, and looking forward to the next stages of our life as our kids start to have their own lives. For example today I was inspired to take more time out for myself and think about my future.
We missed you @CountingDown , but hope to see you and everyone else again soon.
The meetup was a lot of fun, it was great meeting everyone. Thanks @mominva for organizing.
