@HImom, @TooTiredMom, @CountingDown, and mominva (me) will be meeting for Lunch on Wednesday 5/17/17 somewhere on the Orange Line.

@raclut is checking and hopes to join us.

@FallGirl and @Barbalot are unable to make this one. We are hoping for a another local event on a weekend in June (24/25).

Please add me to weekend participant list. I work full-time but would love to participate if I can make day/time work. I’m in Howard County MD. @eastcoascrazy is another in our geographic area, I think.

What do you mean “somewhere on the orange line”. I mean, I know Metro, but I guess you mean in that general area? I might but I’m really shy about doing something like this. Don’t know if I could get up the courage. LOL. Have y’all met up before?

Once I have a sense of numbers, I’ll select a place to accommodate us, near to one of the Orange/Silver Metro stops between Ballston and Rosslyn.

I’ve met about 15 CCers over the years. What usually happens is that we start chatting like we’ve known each other forever!

My sister leaves that day, but I’m not sure what time. I can come if she has left by lunchtime. I’m nearish the New Carrollton station, but I’m guessing you mean the other end of the line, lol.

Never met a CC person in real life. The one meeting that was set up in DC a few years ago that I may have gone to never materialized. This sounds like it will! Have fun!

I feel like we “know” each other better than I know many of my neighbors–we chat about all sorts of things from trivial and funny to current events to fashion/clothes, to education to health to financial planning. I don’t talk about this range of topics with that many folks in real life–everyone’s just so busy.

I did work with one woman who posted on CC for a short while. I think she left after her kids got into college, or maybe after they graduated. She figured out who I was in real life. :wink:

Bummer-- I have meetings on Wednesday that I can’t shift around and have be at my office and not and home.
