Northwestern’s overall admissions rate for its Class of 2030 remained around 7%, similar to that for its Class of 2029.
Kinsley wrote that the pool consisted of over 54,000 applications, a slight increase from more than 53,000 applications in the previous admission cycle.
More than half of the incoming class was admitted through early decision in December. NU received 5,600 early decision applications, about a 7% decrease compared to the Class of 2029.
